The Fruit is My Wealth
When I say The Fruit is My Wealth, I truly believe that with my whole heart. That phrase came to me after reading Galatians 5:22-23. After that I knew I needed to fully learn, practice, consume, and live out all fruits of the spirit. Each of these fruits independently act as a beautiful asset, but to collectively possess all fruits is extraordinary! This wealth is powerful, unassailable, and secured. With other forms of wealth, we may face loss that may slightly disrupt or completely dismantle our entire lives. I realized that if I build up my wealth in the fruits I will certainly obtain and keep favor flowing within my life. I couldn’t shake the strong urge one day to strive to be better. A better child of God, mother, daughter, sister, and overall human being to the people I cross paths with on a daily basis.
This moment became more about having all of what I want as well as all of what I need. With this wealth being satisfied is now obtainable. With this wealth comes clarity. Knowing that I contributed my wealth to all the right people, places and things with no uncertainty. You will begin to have faith in this wealth beyond the wealth that sits in your bank account. Use this blog and my other content to learn, grow and be inspired. So much love from me to each one of you who cross this page. Share it with someone you know. God bless and enjoy.

INSPIRED BY: GALATIANS 5:22-23

Choose just 1 fruit for the month overachiever! No doubling up. I’m sure you already have at least 1 fruit that is already deep rooted within you. Keep exercising that along with a new one.
02
Keep the definition of that fruit close and at the front of your mind.
03
Resist anything that weakens your effort towards developing that fruit.
04
If you are going to watch or listen to anything, let it be calming, positive, and educating. Anything that makes you put that fruit down, deny it.
05
This one was a little personal, but I pray someone can relate. Heavy venting and always being quick to speak out of frustration will not create peace. Go tell it to God. I was guilty of adding fuel to fire at a work meeting, or wanting my friends to validate the anger I felt. Communicate with God. Sit down and just speak out loud. God will respond with peace and love.

It is only right to eat well, drink well and take your vitamins. Staying nourished will help keep balance. It will allow you to notice where you are truly deficient. Remember, your flesh will lack what it wants, not your spirit. The spirit will begin to have everything it needs. As human beings we are so used to free will and just doing what we feel. Don’t allow your free will routine to make you think that a fruit a month will fail you, it won’t. Stay committed.

Define the Fruit
I needed clear definitions in order to stay consistent. I also needed clearer understanding of what each fruit would really mean pertaining to my life. For example, I didn’t know what faithfulness meant, or how to really practice it. There are several scriptures that highlight the act of faithfulness as well as the other fruits. I will include one of my favorite scriptures with each definition. {STICKY NOTE} Don’t be afraid to ask God to help you develop your fruit. He will keep you protected while you are growing. The Holy Spirit is there to help navigate who, what, when, where and how. It is very important to know that everything our heavenly father requires of us, he already is. Don’t overthink and if you make a mistake, just make it right. Let’s get to it!
Fruit of Faithfulness: Being loyal, reliable, and trustworthy in our commitments and relationships. It is very important to remember that God shows us faithfulness everyday. He remains dependable and is always there to hear us when we call out for him.
Scripture: Psalm 12:1
Fruit of of Patience: Do what you know to do and wait in expectancy. Listening to the Holy Spirit is very important when striving for patience. The Holy spirit will truly provide us with the insight where we lack. The scripture I chose speaks about farmers who wait for the rain to fall, then expectantly wait for their harvest. This is the perfect example. Although we now live in a day and age where advancements have been made, there is still a required patience that must take place in order to reap the harvest. It’s just that simple. {STICKY NOTE} DO WHAT YOU KNOW TO DO. KNOW THAT YOU DID ALL THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE.
Scripture: James 5:7-8
Fruit of Peace: Being calm in the mind and in your heart. When you practice not letting things worry you, it creates such a smooth ride. We live in a world where everything feels so urgent and uneasy. Every phone call we get, every announcement that is made, and every post we may read. Some may say having peace is easier said than done, but I say just try to practice it. I have a son who is now 14 years old. I prayed for God so many times to show me how to parent him. I will say that I had to sit in a peaceful space with tears in my eyes some days knowing that every word that came out of my mouth, every act of correcting his behavior was all orchestrated from the prayers I prayed. Having peace doesn’t mean kick your feet up daily with a cold lemonade. For me, peace meant allowing God to give you the words to say followed by certain actions to regulate peace in your environment. As a result, we are at peace individually and as a duo. I am at peace knowing that if my son has a human moment of weakness, the way to properly handle it is already done. I trust God with the words I say and with my actions towards my child because he knows best. Nothing in my mind lets me think I did too much, or didn’t do enough anymore. I trust that nothing I say will be offensive to my child, and nothing I do will emotionally hurt or harm him. I have peace knowing that my son understands what I say when we have conversations and the reason I do what I do, and if he doesn’t at the moment I have peace knowing that he will with the right communication.
Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7
Fruit of Goodness: Doing what is right, not for your benefit, but so others can benefit. We always want to do good things that can show our character and morals as human beings. Not to get a spotlight on the morning news, or a shoutout on the local radio station. All the good that is put out into this world is to glorify God. “Thank you God for blessing me to be a giver. I enjoyed handing out hygiene and food items to every homeless person I saw on the street today.” It’s just that. If by chance someone notices that you did it and wants to acknowledge you, that will be beautiful! Just displaying good because that is who you are with no motives behind it.
Scripture: Galatians 6:9-10
Fruit of Kindness: To lend a hand and to be nice about it. For example, walking past a stranger and they drop something and you help pick it up. Offering to help a neighbor with a task you’ve noticed they are struggling with. Providing the mail person with a cold bottled water when you see them on a hot day. These are all acts of kindness that will make not only the receiver smile, but you as well.
Scripture: Job 6:14
Fruit of Gentleness: Being mild mannered. Most times when we see a brother or sister in Christ stumble it can feel like their stumble isn’t our business, or it is better to just let them sort it out themselves. Displaying gentleness is having a tone that says, “I saw you stumble back there, I want to let you know that it is ok and I am here to support you while ‘we’ walk around what is causing you to stumble. I want to ensure that you don’t fall next time.” Some people may try to speak with an aggressive tone to show their passion, or demand for the person to get it right to show how much they care. Gentleness is showing compassion not frustration, support and not haughtiness.
Scripture: Colossians 3:13
Fruit of Love: Having a pure heart. When you think about a true love, what comes to mind? Displaying love comes with the best intentions. Love is everything before the word but. For example, I found a pretty red sweater, but it was missing a button. Love always has intentions to cheer you up, never to let you down. Love is always going to illuminate the good. Love is always the bright side of every situation; the silver lining.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Fruit of Joy: A feeling of great happiness. Just imagine having joy all the time. Having joy is a great feeling that I pray all can experience. Having joy not only when the moment feels right, but having joy when the world expects us to be sad based on our circumstances. Having joy is delighting in knowing that there is always a solution to the problem. Joy is an overflowing of happiness that you will be ok. In my opinion, joy and faith go hand in hand. You can have them both, but I believe you can’t have one without the other. You can definitely try to have one or the other, but I believe they compliment each other so well. You need faith to have joy and you need joy to keep the faith.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Fruit of Self Control: Being composed, showing self restraint, and resisting hindering urges. This fruit is a large one. To some this may be the easiest fruit to display, but to me this fruit was the hardest. I never practiced self control in my life until this point. Lacking self control led me to practice bad habits, follow the wrong people, and create harmful situations for myself. Thank God I knew I had the strength to one day become self controlled. I did not know when, but I knew God knew it was and still is my heart’s desire. Lack of self control is free will having it’s way to the extreme. We all have free will, but when it becomes detrimental, it comes with major consequences. Lack of self control turns into habits, addictions, ruined relationships, or death. To anyone struggling with self control, keep resisting. Keep crying out to God for that change. I really knew I wanted to be self controlled and I would pray for self control, but within the same hour I was back to my old ways. What helped me to resist was immediately praying as soon as I had the urge to let my free will turn up the heat. Not only pray but go immediately find something else to do whether it’s jumping jacks, read a bible scripture, or listen to a song that reminds you of the love of God. If you know you over indulge in food, don’t go to a restaurant with an unhealthy menu. If you struggle with watching explicit videos don’t pick up anything that makes that content easily accessible. If you struggle with smoking, don’t intentionally stand amongst anyone that is smoking. {STICKY NOTE} REMEMBER, WE ARE NEVER SO FAR REMOVED THAT WE CAN’T FALL BACKWARDS. That is why this is a daily lifestyle choice. The way we have to hydrate daily, and make sure we consume our fruits and veggies daily. This is what it means. If you are going to thrive in all areas, you have to create a healthy environment for your ‘fruit’ to live.

Just a little prayer for you!
Dear God, I just want to say thank you for allowing my brothers and sisters in Christ to find Unlimited Fruits Diary. I pray that their journey is always upward. I pray that there is no obstacle that’s too tough, and no experience too overwhelming for your children. You have said in your word, Philippians 4:13, that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. We Believe it! We have so much faith in your word. We thank you for your grace and mercy. Allow each and every one of your children to happily choose to shed the old and clothe themselves in what’s new, pure, true and Holy every single day. So, thank you Jesus for guiding them, loving them, and sustaining them along the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
